Labour Govt is not accountable - but we all know this.

From Rodney Hide's blog.

But the scary thing is - this just goes on every day and we normally have no idea.

Ah yes - but which is a scarier thought; the lack of accountability that Labour hold, or the resounding lack of interest in accountability from the general populace?

The latter. People with insufficient IQ to understand that their chosen Govt is bad for them should not be given the vote.

These same people will rant-n-rave for hours about how evil the Oil companies are for controlling prices between themselves but don't notice it's the same for Electricity. They think health waiting lists are nothing to worry about till they are in one and then they whine about how unfair it is....

Hmmm - I'll disagree with you slightly there, but Im far too likely to want to blog on that one myself ;-)

Everyone should have the right to vote, but that doesnt mean everybody should...

Yes I agree, although I do wonder how the country would be if (long term) beneficiaries were not entitled to vote. Why should they ? They only take from the country, why should they have a choice in how it is run ?
