Night Riding

Last Tuesday (2nd August) we did another Kaori Sanctuary circumnavigation. Starting at the Scout Hall at Campbell St we skirted around the fence and down the dual use track to the Sanctuary overflow carpark. (Past the old gold mine) I clipped my light on a low tree on the way down, loosing a light bracket. Bit of tape and it was sorted. Over the top, taking the option of riding up car parts. It was wet and muddy. Down the dual use to the scout hall again from the top of Wrights and outta there. Nice ride on a cold misty night.

Dear Leader

From stuff: Clark says no to party censure of Field

A priceless little piece of Helen's work. "Despite Labour supporting a failed Greens motion that would have meant Mr Field was handed a parliamentary censure last week, Miss Clark said yesterday she would not consider a similar move by the party."

So, when they know it will fail they feign support, but sorry we don't actually believe that support was genuine.

What I can't believe is that Helen Clark is too frightened to test a by-election in a Labour safe seat.

Tui award.

From Stuff: Clark the most effective leader in poll

Cullen wins: "Finance Minister Michael Cullen spoke at the Herald's Mood of the Boardroom function yesterday, saying he was part of an activist government with a clear strategy to reform the economy. "

Yeah Right !

Activist... try interventionist corrupt government with an ideology that is transforming the economy - badly.
